Service Delivery Method Descriptions

Traditional

The tried & true training experience. All learning, skills practice, and training are executed in-person in a classroom setting with a certified instructor.

Hybrid

A more flexible way to train. Learning is executed online in a virtual classroom while skills practice and testing is executed in-person, in a classroom setting, with a certified instructor.

Virtual

A more contactless way to train. All learning, skills practice, and testing is executed online in a virtual classroom/laboratory. Virtual training may be live proctored by a certified instructor.

AHA Alignment & Affiliation

In accordance with the policies of the American Heart Association, all students applying for, participating in, or completing an AHA Instructors course are required to be eligible for affiliation and alignment with an authorized AHA Training Center or Training Site in order to act as a certified instructor. 

Module(s): Affiliation to the AHA via our Training Center partner, creation of AHA instructor profile and ID, and issuance of instructor certification. Alignment to our AHA Training Site which will monitor and manage instructorship, placement into discipline(s) student is authorized to instruct, and activation of students instructor certification permitting the student to act as a certified instructor.

AHA Monitoring & Clearance

In accordance with the policies of the American Heart Association, all students applying for, participating in, or completing an AHA Instructors course are required to undergo initial and renewal live monitoring of instructional activity to ensure instructional standards are being met, and/or exceeded. In addition, the prospective instructor will be required to obtain clearance to function as a certified instructor from an AHA Training Faculty member.

Module(s): Live monitoring of teaching activity, typically planned and executed by the prospective instructor. Final clearance of instructor post monitoring through a formal review and, if applicable, completion of a remedial clearance plan.

Prerequisite(s): Successful completion of an AHA Instructor Essentials course and successful alignment and affiliation to an authorized AHA Training Center and/or Training Site.
